Holidays in Lviv on weekends
If you are tired from daily work, want to see something new and relax, then a weekend in Lviv is the best idea for you. There are always a lot of things to do for young people and large (and even small) families. We – the agents of the care department of the Gruner Hotel took care of your holiday and gathered a few places where everyone will have fun and see something interesting.
Interesting places for youth
Despite all the number of museums and historical monuments, Lviv is a city where young people are never bored. Do you want to have fun? Here are some places where fun is always waiting for you.
! FESTrepublic
To feel yourself as Lviv youth, you need to go there. “! FESTrepublic” is one of the most popular locations in Lviv, where festivals, parties and themed events take place regularly. DJs and various Ukrainian bands also often perform there.
“! FESTrepublic” – is the perfect place to relax with a large group of friends. There was a “CRAFT BEER & VINYL MUSIC FESTIVAL” in May, where Lviv residents and guests drank beer, listened to vinyl and Ukrainian electronics, broke away under LATEXFAUNA, practiced beer yoga during 3 days. If you are still thinking about what to do on the weekend in Lviv, go to the Instagram-page “! FESTrepublic” and choose whatever you like. This place is a must visit.

ZAVOD
You may endlessly look at 3 things: how water flows, how fire burns and how old factories in Lviv are reorganized into creative locations.
Previously, there was a REMA factory on the territory of this place – in Soviet times, medical equipment was produced there. Today there are many offices, workshops, galleries, and even places for parties.
Many youth spaces have been setting up in ZAVOD’s chambers now: the Zefirina and Painted Fox galleries, the Gershom Theater, and the Ganok are places where parties and film take place here regularly. In addition, the first eco-coworking in Lviv was opened there.

Meet Bar “Former”
Drink “Tears of the former” and take to drink “Farewell sex” – you will be offered to experience parting with your loved ones here. The “Former” is a bar where people gather to remember their past relationship and celebrate the end of the present. There is everything for this – delicious cocktails, the Mona Lisa with a red cat in her arms, and a rake – for those for whom the rule “you will not enter the same river twice” does not apply.
If you have exes – surely come. The “Former” will have something to remember, drink and eat.

Om Nom Nom
For those who do not eat meat or follow a plant-based diet, “Om Nom Nom” will become a favorite place in the city. Om Nom Nom is a cozy restaurant near the center of Lviv. They cook exclusively vegetarian dishes that will be appreciated by even those who love meat. Why not feel like a vegetarian on the weekends? Try it. Maybe you’ll like it, who knows?

It will be fun and interesting for everyone, because the shelter’s infrastructure is designed for both adults and the young visitors. Domazhyr has a rope park for children, an amphitheater and a forest school, a cafe, gazebos and a souvenir shop.

Marevo
None of us cannot imagine family vacation without delicious pizza for dinner. In “Marevo” it is prepared from organic farm products and with Italian skill. This place treats their business with awe, so they brew beer themselves, buy only freshly roasted coffee from Lviv and bring wine from winemakers from all over the country. Even mozzarella in “Marevo” is not imported – they cook it themselves.
At Marevo they dream of their business. And you will dream of their dishes.
An important warning: when you taste their pizza, it may seem that you have moved to Italy. But we advise you to pull yourself together – there is still a whole weekend ahead.
